Chicks Dig Scars
One of Dan's favorite movie quotes is "Pain heals, chicks dig scars, and glory lasts forever". Well, he's got the scar part down! Thought you might want to see what we have affectionately referred to as "the zipper". Thankfully everything has healed well and the staples should be out any day.

Aw jeez...if it's any consolation it's only half the size of mine on my abdomen! So glad you set up this blog so we can follow your progress and give you some peace at the same time. Hope you all are hanging tough - you are constantly on my mind and in my heart.

AWESOME! Jen - you better watch out for those nurses diggin' the scar. They didn't even mess up his hair cut! LOL Seriously, I'm so glad things are going well and hope and pray that they continue to go well. Hugs to all of you!

I never thought of Dan as being a zipper head but I must admit, I was always curious how he kept some much inside that thing...I am so glad to hear he is doing well. One tough guy. I know he will be able to take anything the Doctors need to throw at him to make in well. Thanks so much for the update Jen, tell Dan we are thinking about him daily.
